Learn about the history of Geosas Goalkeeper Academy
Geovanny Salinas, owner of Geosas Goalkeeper Academy, began his professional career as a goalkeeper at the age of 18, playing for eight teams in Ecuador and Panama, and participating in international tours across South America with his respective teams.
With years of experience, Geovanny focuses on teaching the fundamental principles of goalkeeping, such as confidence, positioning, and reflexes. He uses a variety of exercises and training techniques, which he personally demonstrates, providing players with a clear and practical model. Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of mental preparation for game situations.
With a national "B" license from the USSF, Geovanny has trained goalkeepers from ages 8 to university and professional levels, both male and female. He has worked with the academy and reserve team of the Metro Stars, as well as other club teams, high schools, and universities.
